meet bones :)

we stumbled across him today while taking a little walk.
this little guy was a perfect subject for taking photos.
so if you're bones' owner, and you stumble across this photo
makes sure you give him some extra food tomorrow.

whilst catching up on school work, i've discovered that i hate poetry more than i previously thought.
it doesn't help that Peter Skrzynecki has a name that I always manage to spell wrong.
I've googled his name about 35040530403405305 times.

Plus, the internet is a good tool for procrastination.
Especially blogging.

i've also comes to the realisation that NO ONE,
may i repeat.. NO ONE, reads this blog.
but i'm going to keep on blogging anyway.

daisies :)

Red Velvet Cupcakes, made using Paula Deen's recipe

A little while ago I did a photo essay on the pollution at Lime Kiln Bay Wetlands
which is a few blocks away from my house.
I used the photo essay to compare what the Wetlands are supposed to be, and what they actually are.

The photos of pollution were contrasted to the pictures of the wildlife that inhabited the Wetlands.
The ducks were alot more willing than I was, these photos were taken on a freezing cold winters morning complete with a heavy layer of fog.

Ironically, the Clean Up Australia Day volunteers were the ones who made the most mess,
With their bags of rubbish thrown in bushes and scattered around the waters edge.

made joy the baker's Low Fat Oatmeal Banana Bread today,
my oven is once again messing up so it came out a little dry,
but other than that, it's delicious :D

NB: 10 minutes after I put it out, there is no more banana bread.
it speaks for itself.

a statue in the botanical gardens,
this poor statue seems to have lost his arm, partially.
or maybe it was intentional.
his eye was also missing.

another photo from the botanical gardens.

i've also decided that I 110% hate being sick.
but I am, thanks to my lovely sister who decided to share her germs.

Dearest Neighbours;
I would love if you could kindly remove your antenna.
Actually, come to think of it, the removal of your roof may be nice too.

I will happily repay you in cupcakes and cookies, or even a creme brulee!

Yours Sincerely,
Troubled Photographer.

the bamboo trees at the botanical gardens were totally graffitied,
engraved with thousands of peoples names.

blogger likes to rotate my photos >.>

We had a yummmmmmyyyy lunch at Taste in Surry Hills
Their pastries are HEAVENLY, especially their chocolate palmiers.
And their baguettes are delicious.

Their courtyard out the back is gorgeous as well.
Not only is the food good, the atmosphere is too!
